Cooper Hereford Ranch has a long history of providing the great cattlemen of our Nation with quality seedstock which dates back to 1967 when patriarch Jack Cooper combined forces with half-brother Les Holden to host the inaugural “Cooper-Holden, Top of the Tops” bull sale in Great Falls, MT. The two men continued this tradition for 13 years before transitioning to independent sales in 1980. 

Each spring we offer 90-100 Hereford bulls for sale at our ranch in Willow Creek, MT. The offering reflects the end product of a program that has remained rooted in performance but focused on maternal for over 80 years. These yearling bulls are bred with the commercial cattleman in mind and should add longevity to your bull battery, fertility to your cowherd, and performance and predictability to your calf crop. They’re functional and reliable bulls that have length, bone, muscle and eye appeal. We AI our entire cow herd and maintain a strict 45 day pasture turnout period.
